Diet and Exercise Plan to Make You Lose Weight Faster!

People, who are on a mission for weight loss, often believe that going on a diet is the key requirement. Cutting down on a lot of fat and unnecessary calories is a sure weight loss trick but depending on it solely will be foolishness. No weight loss program is complete without a proper exercise program.

Weight loss exercise program has to be special. Most people are under a notion that weight loss exercise means aerobics, running, jogging, kickboxing and brisk walking. Yes, it is true that running on a treadmill or jogging for an hour that get your heart racing for 30 to 45 minutes.

However, experts feel that calories burned during exercises is just a small part. Once you are done with your weight letting your muscles require some time to repair themselves. When this repair process is undergoing, the body burns some more calories.

If you really want to lose weight and are seriously looking for an exercise regime for the same, here are some simple but effective exercises to help you reach your goal.

a) Light housework

Try to indulge in some household activities such as dusting, washing dishes, mapping the floor etc. This burns about 2-3 calories in a minute.

b) Walking

Walking is known to be the best exercise for losing weight. The percentage of fat burning is around the 55% mark. Here the amount of weight loss depends on the intensity of the effort you make. Walking will burn a good proportion o stored fat. It also has the capacity to burn a good amount of calories if performed for a longer duration and at a brisk speed. The best part is that walking can be a great start for anyone at any age.

c) Aerobic or light jogging

Aerobic classes will be a great choice for you if you want to lose weight at a faster pace. They are really effective in burning a good amount of energy in one session! However, an overweight person may not be able to get good benefits from just aerobics. Light jogging will also help you lose weight easily. Join aerobics classes today if you are serious about weight loss.

d) Running

Running at 7 minute mile average will help you burn about more than ten calories per minute. This is a great exercise to burn good amount of fat from you body. Running on a treadmill will also work wonders for you. Don't expect overnight results. It will take time to lose weight. Patience is the key to success here.

e) Sprinting or weight training

Sprinting or weight training is considered to be some of the most intense exercise one can perform. These exercises work towards burning a large amount of calories from your body. You need to take a good amount of rest between each period.

Physical activities are the best ways to lose a considerable amount of weight. However, this needs to be a consistent effort. Exercising for a week and expecting miraculous result will take you nowhere. Don't give a long break to your exercise routine. Continue the regime for at least three months at stretch and you will see a remarkable change in your body shape.
